Hey Jeff, have you experienced any issues trying to deinterlace with QuickTime 7.6? Since installing iLife 09 I am no longer able to deinterlace my 1080i video when outputting to 1280×720.
Note:
1. If I just do an export to the default “Large” format from iMovie (AppleTV), it works just fine. It only is if I use export via QuickTime that the deinterlace does not work.
2. VisualHub does not work either
3. Only solution to this point has been to export my 1080i using AIC, then run MPEG Streamclip on it.
I posted a message in the Apple forums, but have not heard anything substantial yet.
