  8. Thanks for the pub on Horrible Turn! We worked hard on it! Also - I had never seen CommandN before. I work with PCs so much I have always been more of a ControlN guy but now that I have found it count me as a subscriber! Great video work, fast paced and fun. Best of luck and thanks a bajillion.

    Great episode guys, great links!

    Have to raise an issue with your review though Jeff. Dreamweaver isn’t as nearly as important as you make out. Most professional developers (i.e. those that really know their stuff) hand-code. Anyone we have ever interviewed that list Dreamweaver as one of their skills were really not up to scratch!

    Looking forward to #200!

    @Nev: I hear what you’re saying but I think you’d find, especially with so much web work being done by designers who have learned to do development nowadays, that there’s an awful lot of web development that is no longer being done by hand and that relies on tools like DW (obviously you need to be able to tweak code, though). That said, I agree that a lot of hard core coders wouldn’t be using it :-) . Thanks for watching!

    Today someone mentioned this site to me: MysteryGoogle (http://www.mysterygoogle.com/) Very odd web site. You get the search results of the last person who searched for something. Andy

    Cool show guys, I am staying just outside of Toronto over from England for the next year and beyond (hopfully!) A friend put me in touch with your show and i follow it regularly. Being away I watch allot of TV online and Clicker is a great resource for sure. The thing it seams to lack is the ability to search by country or region as allot of the content is restricted to US only viewers. Using a good quality proxy service gets around this but just a little frustrating to have to manually click on each link to see if you are allowed to watch the content from your location. You mentioned some other sites like clicker that are out there and wondered if you knew of any that did have the region search feature? Cheers Tony

    @Andy O:

    Along the same lines as mystery Google, this did the rounds a couple of months ago:

    Kashiwa Mystery Cafe

  14. jeff says:

    @Tony Scott: Hadn’t seen that Clicker site before (http://www.clicker.com/) so thanks for the tip. I’ve got a few pointers for where to watch TV online on my http://www.decabled.com blog, so check it out (e.g. CTV.ca and GlobalTV.com are the two major networks with online offerings in Canada - cbc.ca has some stuff but generally not as popular).

    @Nev Stokes: That’s a pretty wild idea at the Kashiwa Mystery Cafe - cool!

    Jeff

    @Nev Stokes: Interesting site! Cool concept especially if you don’ know what you want to eat. :)

    Black Friday/Cyber Monday is coming up soon. Anyone know of any good potential sites to surf some good (tech) bargains when the time comes? I tried to Google some potential leads but I’m wondering if anyone reading this has any other clues as to where one might find a bargain online. Here is what I got so far:
