Sometimes Wordpress inserts commandN.tv in front of our links…and dear Chris was a bit under the weather late this week, so didn’t have time to fix ‘er up!
Many options exist to do this on the PC. A company called hauppauge makes some great TV tuners for PCs and MAC that also support this sort of video recording like your doing.
However the toy that they make that will blow your mind is the hauppauge HD PVR. That can take High-Definition video and make real-time H.264 compressed recordings at resolutions up to 1080i. HD-PVR records component video (YCrCb) from cable TV and satellite set top boxes, with a built-in IR blaster to automatically change TV channels for scheduled recordings. Audio is recorded using AAC or Dolby Digital. I have been using one for a while and I have to say the quality is amazing.
I downloaded the podcast and itunes tells me this when I try to sync my ipod. “CommandN episode 198″ was not copied to the ipod “Dale’s Ipod” because it cannot be played on this ipod”.
I have been subscribed for quite a while. This is the first time I have ever had trouble with the video podcast. I am using a 5th gen classic. I am subscribed to the Ipod version.
I tried downloading the ipod version from the commandn website but I get the same error.
First!
http://commandn.tv/similar-images.googlelabs.com/ is returning an error.
Try this link:
http://images.google.com/
Then do a test search like “Amber Mac”
You should see “Similar Image” below the thumbnail.
Another great episode by the team..
Um, does anyone else see lots of jaggies/interlace artifacts in the H.264 download version of this episode? or is my PC playing up?
Cheers
James

Keep up the great work… All the best from Newfoundland.
@Joe - darn, I was supposed to be in Newfoundland to speak this week…but the event got canceled because of H1N1.
Hope to still get out there one day soon!

After viewing the 60 minutes story I think we need software that fixes itself.
