  5. Sherrie McFalls says:

  12. Jonas says:

    Hi, Amber,

I have not seen Wil on the show for quite a while and noticed that his name no longer appears in the credit.

Has he left the show and will only appear as guest hosts?

  13. What do you get nerdy boyfriends? Just finished listening to Ben Mezerich’s audiobook on the boys at FB. It is obvious- hot chicks. It appears hot chicks are the end game to the nerds at Facebook.

  14. jeff says:

@ Josh: Yeah, it’s a great little product (I’m not sure of any other way to get music off an iPhone for Windows users, either - anyone?!

Amber and I grew up with very big dogs - there was one cat that had terrible attitude, and I think that may have scarred us (literally and figuratively) :-) .

    Thanks for watching!

    Jeff

  15. BillyD says:

Love the show and video quality/style has really improved since the early days, great job CommandN team. Jeff, what happened with muzikDEN? Finally, Ween!

  17. Steve Pittman says:

Thanks for the Website from Scratch segment and link. Good stuff. Great episode as always. It will be nice to get Will back to bounce topics off of. The extra banter between you two is entertaining and informative.

  18. Paul Wesson says:

My favorite is actually a brand new one from the gang of The Guild, called “Do You Want to Date My Avatar?”

  19. Amber Mac says:

@Paul - oh, love the video!!! We’ll include ‘er tomorrow!

  20. Josh says:

@ Jeff. I’ve seen a few hacked together freeware apps for windows that allow you to Browse the iPod filesystem, retrieve some obscurely named files and drag over manually. A far cry from this solution. I manage smartphone integration at youre Alma mater here on the westcoast and we are constantly looking for ways to help our users leverage their devices. Especially iPhones. Cheers.

  21. Andy Piper says:

I was going to say “Do You Wanna Date My Avatar” just went to the top of my list of favourite videos as well, but Paul beat me to it :-) I ended up getting it on iTunes…

  22. Amber Mac says:

    @Andy - thanks again!
    -Amber

  23. jungleduck says:

Great episode. My favourite video is an older one called The Parlor ( http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=479473958902023238 ) It reminds me of my IRC days. Tough to pick a second one off the top of my head.

  24. Sgt Ret says:

Interesting pop-up commercials. I hope that add to the profit margin for this site because I don’t want it to disappear anytime soon.

About the cat: you’ve just been marked by the cat world. You know about the crows and face recognition experiment? Cats put crows to shame with their world-wide hive mind communication conspiracy.

Just kidding. It was just a cat seeking attention. It’s what they do. (Ahhh Chooo!)

  25. Will Pate says:

Hey folks, looks like my travel schedule has calmed down a bit. Hoping to be back on next week if all goes well! :)

  26. Amber Mac says:

    @Will - great news!
    -Amber

  27. jeff says:

@BillyD: I loved muzikDEN but it was too much production work for one person (except for an occasion hand from Chris Campbell), so I just couldn’t keep up the schedule while doing commandN and our “real jobs” at MGImedia.ca :-) . Would love to get it going again someday if the opportunity should arise. Ween are awesome - I’ve seen them live several times and have all the albums - crazy but I love it :-) .

@Josh: Yeah, this is the first really nice interface I’ve seen for the iPod to Windows transfer (again, if there IS something good then let us know in the comments/email). That’s cool that SFU (I’m guessing) is making those kinds of efforts. Let’s face it - an iPod or iPhone is pretty standard fare for most college-age folk (and maybe there will be another standard with the iTablet - hopefully so).

    Jeff

  28. BillyD says:

@jeff “Goin gets tough from the getgo…” :-) It’s ok, I downloaded the old eps. Love Ween, but I have yet to see them live. BTW, the Internet Archive has some cool Ween live recordings. Here are a few…

Anyone else notice his XXX-Video folder at 5:24?

  30. Interesting internet page and refreshing posting. I like music a lot. I have marked it to come back later. Even if you are on the right track- you will get run over if you just sit there

  31. Things have not been heading well in my house lately. My kids have all come down having a stomach flu, I have extended family coming in for an event and my washing machine broke. Proper now I just wish to sit in a corner and cry. Thankfully I am not likely to do that. When my husband gets home in ten minutes I am planning to lock myself in our bedroom. As soon as every person stops banging for the door asking what I’m doing, I will relax. The initial point I will do is Get Cracked Porn Site Logins.. That show is always excellent for a laugh and I definitely have to have one now. Right after that I may nap or take a bubble bath. I haven’t decided yet.

  32. FapDirectory says:

For the past three months, I’ve been waiting for the DVD edition from the Frasier series. I am nevertheless fourth in line at my local library to receive these so I was really excited to learn that I can Watch High Quality Porn!. My plan was to watch the DVDs around the train although commuting to and from perform so I’m hoping I have Web access through the tunnels and stations on my route. My wife laughs about my obsession with this, but she is hooked on certain Television shows herself. I’m wondering if I ought to tell her that she can watch her shows online also.
