” We tried them but didn’t like them ” That’s what Neil Armstrong told my youngest brother.
My family moved to Columbus Ohio in the summer of 1969 and we were fortunate enough to meet Neil Armstrong at the Ohio State University. Neil Armstrong took a couple of minutes and asked my brothers and sister’s if we had any questions. My youngest brother was very young, but he had a question for Neil. At the time a food called ” space food sticks “, was being advertised as being used by the astronauts. So he asked Neil if they used space food sticks. Neil paused for a second and then very seriously told him ” we tried them, but didn’t like them “.
Here is a suggestion for a future show. Show us how you develop and produce your shows. How large of a staff does it take to do your productions? What equipment/techniques do you use for production and post-production. How about your research process to gather the information you talk about on the shows?
Yeah, the pie thing was pretty funny but there will certainly be some payback (I thought Amber might be a little more sensitive to that kind of prank after her Jello incident with Andy on Call for Help).
On a more serious note: Thanks so much to all our viewers and supporters for keeping us going for more than 4 years now (and to everyone else who has helped out - Mike, Brian, Chris, Bart, and so many more).
We’ve been very lucky to share our love technology with so many interesting people and to get to chat with you guys in the comments, through email, and even in-person at various events - looking forward to lots more!
