This was a very good episode. The interview with Chris Anderson was interesting and Jeff’s segment was educational. As usual the editing was outstanding. I definitely feel like I learned a few things after watching.

Good to have you back Will. Dressing very smartly too. And very nicely shot by Chris. Loved the framing during the headlines.
Sad for Encarta to go, I remember using that all the time at school.
Amber - would video chats work on the current iPhone? The camera points outwards! And the Chris Anderson IV was great.
Twitter job searching is an interesting idea; I suppose that’s just another sign that Twitter has hit mainstream.
Nice segment by Jeff. The only thing I have to add is that my main solution to avoiding jump cuts would be use of overlay vision. That comes from a news editing background though - I suppose it just depends on what sort of shoot it is. And I love tight framing; strong depth-of-field stuff
All-round great episode. Did you know that water is essential to life?

You should have told Chris Anderson that you prefer to read Vogue in whatever format he prefers to read Golf Digest magazine in. But seriously, that was awesome when you said “I don’t want to read it at all”.
What camera did you use to shoot the segments with Will and Amber? I love the way you could focus on them and get the railing on the bottom right corner our of focus. Really great effect.
@Liam: Yeah, overlays are life-savers, for sure! There’s nothing so comforting to a video editor than to know that, no matter how messed the footage is, you have a ton of screenshots you can use to cover any mistakes
@Ian: I’ve got a 1st gen version of the Sony Reader (PRS-500?) and actually did a review of it on commandN a while back. Kindle has wireless and a keyboard, both of which the Sony Reader lack, but haven’t gotten a chance to play with one yet. That said, I’ve really enjoyed my Sony Reader, too. You should check out the Calibre ebook application at http://calibre.kovidgoyal.net/ if you’re on a Mac or want an alternative to Sony’s s/w.

@Liam - Chris has mad skills. As for Jeff, well, he got all his talents from me…ah, wait, I’m actually the younger one! -Amber
it has to do something with your posts and settings, like you see the theme on your site has the same problem
This is such an awesome site! Keep it up!

Brillian interview with Chris Anderson. He clearly believes in print media, and in symbiosis rather than competition.
@Lipak - yes, that was funny - just kind of blurted it out!
@Andy - thanks, we had fun!

Is there something wrong with FeedBurner? I can’t get the eps via iTunes at all anymore.
Thanks,
